Your Print Investment | Sydney Kate Photography

A client-dedicated photographer doesn't offer prints to make a commission. They give access to quality ways of showcasing their investment. So, I'll let you in on a secret: Not all print labs offer the same level of quality.

Taking your professional photos to a low quality print lab is like getting your hair colored at a high-end salon and using dollar store shampoo instead of going with salon recommended products to maintain it. Let me tell you, the results aren't pretty and it's money down the drain.

That's why it's important to think of prints as an investment. These are your personal moments and you deserve a quality way of showcasing how special they are.

Why Get Prints Through Your Online Gallery?

All high-resolution digital images are available to download for free in your own online gallery and that alone is a great deal! Here's why you should take advantage of that:

  • My Pic-Time galleries are set up to offer prints only from high quality sources, which guarantees you'll get prints you'll love!

  • It's super convenient! I've already done the legwork for you, so the images are uploaded and print-ready. Already you're saving time AND money.

  • There are SO many different products to choose from, like: individual prints, frames, albums, thank you cards and other amazing things that make life more beautiful!

Watch the tutorial here:

The big thing I focused on while honing my craft is what it took to deliver high quality images. I'll spare you the details, but there are a number of factors that go into that:

  • The type of camera I use,

  • Shooting technique,

  • Camera settings,

  • Editing,

  • and Final output settings.

Even after following all those steps, low quality print labs degrade the quality I work so hard to achieve. This further proves how important it is to invest in a client-dedicated photographer and excellent prints to display those high quality images.

In the reference image provided, you can see some of the differences between nine different labs. There are excellent articles comparing printers here and also here if you'd like to learn the differences. I plan to do my own test at some point as well.

I hope you found this post helpful. And, as always, feel free to chat with me if you have any questions.
