Dark Fantasy Assassin Photoshoot in Minnesota | Kitty's Cinematic Portrait Session

I've been into reading fantasy novels lately, so when the idea for this shoot came about, I was ALL in! The inspiration for this came particularly from he Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

Armed with a sword and dressed in layered black clothing that looked straight out of an epic fantasy adventure, she represented a powerful warrior standing against the rushing waters of a Minnesota waterfall.

One of my favorite things about creative portrait sessions is the opportunity to bring a character, idea, or aesthetic to life. Kitty absolutely embodied the role of a fierce warrior: strong, confident, and completely unafraid to climb over rocks and explore the landscape to get the perfect shot. The result was a collection of moody, cinematic portraits that feel equal parts fantasy, adventure, and storytelling.

I basically want to be HER when I grow up now. haha
